Hello all!

I have tried pretty much everything. My shopify store (frontieredu.shop) is hosted with Godaddy. The DNS records have been updated >48 hours ago. The site loads in other countries but not in the UAE. Screenshots below:

Location: UAE

I have checked on Godaddy and there is no geoblocking enabled anywhere.

Can I get help understanding, what can I do to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance!

This is an accepted solution.

Can be internet provider-specific -- are you able to test via different one, say via mobile service?
In AU, Telstra was blocking Shopify stores -- there were several complaints in these forums and it was necessary to contact Telstra to whitelist your store.

Wow! Didn't know that would be the solution. Changed the ISP to check and it does work on Etisalat and not on DU (my existing WiFi and mobile data provider).

Now, it could be either DU is slow to update their DNS servers  -- you may test using Google servers on you desktop(?) by specifying 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers -- then just wait a bit longer.

Or, it can be that they do block some sites -- you may need to contact your provider then for resolution.

Hi Tim!

We contacted DU regarding this and you were right! They did block access to the website. It took all of 2 hours to get it unblocked. Never would have thought, such simple advise would be key to solving this!

Thanks a ton!

How exactly did you contacted Du about this issue? I tried on their support but its mostly for customer care. I am having the same issue on my website with Du only.
