Over the last 3 months we've been trying to get our favicon to be displayed on google.
The last method we used was on Novemeber 12th. Were we uploaded directly the favicon .ico to the shopify's media option.
(".ico" file on our content tab - The icon should have the google's recommended pixel resolution).
We know it can take google more than a co (on the google console web) uple of weeks to index your website again.
We've also asked them to recrawl our url in an attempt to hasten this process a little bit BUT since we are inexperienced on this subject we don't know if we should keep on waiting or maybe we made a mistake that needs to be adressed.
So we're asking for an advice or mentoring on this subject
Thanks in advance

Hey Goodboypet,
I believe the issue is because your favicon hasn't been attached or added to your theme yet. See screenshot below.
When connected correctly, your favicon should show up on your website. Like mine:
Then, once connected correctly, it will then show up in google.
Let me know if you need help with this, I'd be happy to assist you.
