We use the StarShipit Shopify integration to print our labels (NZ Post).
We have a single product onto which customers can create their own design using our custom art builder. This leads to thousands of product variations. We need a way to identify the specific design that a customer has ordered just from looking at the printed shipping label.
Currently, the shipping label only shows the client name (which is captured at checkout) and the name of the product.
Ideally, we could output some sort of code that describes the design and have that code show on the label for each item.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. Let me know if I need to clarify or elaborate on anything.
Hi,
Is there any SKU or ID for each product?
We don't currently have an SKU but as I understand it there is only one SKU per product and all our custom options fall under the one product. Is that correct?
An ID may work but I'm unsure if that's the same as an SKU in that there is only one ID per product.
This may be an issue with the StarShipIt system in terms of what info it can import
