Need some help editing Dawn Theme code for two simple site edits

Hi there,

Thank you in advance to anyone who reads/answers this! Just had two quick questions; (1) I noticed that the 'Policies' pages that are linked in the footer, when visiting each policy page, they seem to be awkwardly thin - is there any way to format them so the text has smaller margins (wider body of text). And, (2) all hyperlinked texts throughout the site (in regular pages and, more specifically and where it is mainly needed, blog pages) seem to be formatted to be the same color as the background. I reached out to Shopify Help Center where I was directed to ask here because it requires editing the code within my theme and they cannot provide me with code.
