Need to add multiple custom text fields and image upload for product personalisation

Hi there, I run www.childrensfootball.com and want to start listing personalised products. I need the customer to enter multiple lines of custom text and also have the option to upload an image. This can be different for different products, so 1 product personalisation may just require a photo upload, 1 may require 1 line of custom text and a photo, and 1 might require 5 lines of custom text. I am using Dawn v10. I really don't want to be adding code that will be overwritten by each upgrade, any help would be much appreciated xx

Hi @DenHineCITS 

You can do two things.

1. Install the APP like infinite option.

2. In case of custom code you can write all codes in external file.

Let me know if have any more questions.

By this for every update you just have to create new file and one line of code at the very end in main-product.liquid whenever you update the theme.

Which will add the code in main-product.liquid

For future reference, you can add custom fields using our Free enhanced Shopify UI element generator tool. It does not require an app, no coding knowledge needed. It works well with Shopify 2.0 free themes.
