Hi, @DarkLord!

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

It sounds like your password protection was disabled. Rest assured, you can enable it once again by following a few steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Preferences.

  2. Scroll to the Password protection area, and check Restrict access to visitors with the password.

  3. In Password, enter the password that you'll give to the customers who you want to be able to access your online store.

  4. Click Save.

What stage are you at in setting up your store? Check out our Shopify Store Launch Checklist as this provides a methodical approach to ensure that everything in your store is optimized for conversion.

Please feel free to let me know here if you need any further assistance.

Hi Mac

Thank for getting back to me. This has solved the issue and I also see that all the help pages are now working again.
I’ve only just started setting up the site for my Daughter who is autistic and has asperges,
I’m not all that familiar with web technology, but working my way through this to assist her.

I have been following the guide as best I can and so far seem to be going Ok.

I’ve been reviewing how to connect my domain name to Shopify Giftsbymj.com.au this is currently with GoDaddy
But I having no luck so far, not sure what the issue is, but want to use the domain name for the Shopify store I’m setting up.

Perhaps you can point me to some information to assist, other than the video connect to my store that I was presented with.

Kind Regards
DarkLord (my daughter nickname for me)
