I just posted our new website www.creationbyalisa.com and added it to Google Search Console. It is showing an alert for "Deceptive Pages" but does not give any sample URLs. I have not encountered any issues and have scanned for malware etc and everything comes up ok. Any thoughts?
There are multiple legitimate reasons why this message might be triggered, but I have to say that it seems unusual for it to happen before pages have been indexed. Even so, I have also encountered this recently with a non-Shopify site. It is now six weeks since you posted. Was the issue resolved for you? Did you resolve it yourself? Please comment if it was sorted out, indicating what was done to solve the problem.
As I recall, there was an option from within the Search Console error to request a review from Google. I submitted that along with an "explanation" and within a couple days they had responded back that all was clear and the error was resolved. Clearly it just seemed to be a glitch of some sort that they were able to rectify immediately.
Thanks very much - that's useful.
