Hi everyone,
I have been using Google Merchant Center since May 2023 and it worked without any problems. Google just recently suspended my GMC account for a Misrepresentation policy violation. I redesigned my banner/logo to include my business's full name (earlier it did not) and revised all policy pages. And yes, they are added to the footer, along with a contact page. Still did not get approved. I do not even know whether this is because of the products or because of the store setup and design.
Can someone review the store and suggest some fixes? I contacted Google to get more info but they do not help much. Here is the Shopify store link.
Thanks.
Here are the most common issues:
Having a quick look, one issue is that you need to add more contact details, such as addresss, business hours, social links, telephone number on your contact page.
Make sure there is no auto currency conversion based on IP.
When adding 1 item to the cart, the cart does not show there is something inside.

Thank you so much, Emmanuel, for reviewing my store and sharing the links. I will try these fixes and add more contact details to the store. I will post an update soon.
Update: Adding contact information did not suffice. Still got rejected for this violation. I have been using IP-based currency switching in my previous Shopify store in 2022 without any issues with GMC. Still using it. How could that be a possible reason for this? Or is it something else? Please help me.
It is recommended to go the extra mile and resolve all potential issues, not just 1.
IP based currency conversion is not allowed, and has never been allowed. If you where never caught, that means Google did not check your account yet.
Thanks for replying. I am going to remove the currency conversion and request a re-review. If you can share more suggestions besides this one, I appreciate it so much. I do follow most of the policies on my Shopify store and that makes it really difficult to find the actual cause of policy violation.
