No sections in uploaded theme

I downloaded a custom theme from the internet and uploaded the zip to shopify. However, trying to edit the theme, i found out there were no sections to edit:

I like the convenience of just playing around with the sections. Is this the standard with custom themes or am I missing something?

Hey @VISR-OFFICIAL this maybe happen you are using crack theme. If you want to practice with Shopify you can Shopify official free themes.
