not redirecting to thank you page_post purchase

A Shopify page does not redirect to a thank you page after a purchase resulting in not being able to capture user and product objects. Sometimes it redirects to different domains resulting in the same issue.

I want here to understand any way or work around so that once a user makes a purchase the page redirects to the thank you page irrespective of any payment gateways.
