Open Balance Account Transfer Unable to Complete

So it has been brough to our attention that if you attempt any test purchases, that you cannot then transfer to client without Shopify verifying and handling the transfer. 

What is the average timeline for this?  

We are currently on one month with on store, waiting for support, and a couple weeks with another.
