Order page showing more than one file after delete or replace...

I've been testing uploading files for download and its not only giving 2 emails with slightly different download links (to the same product) but also listing older removed versions which makes for a confusing list of versions to the consumer. I only want it to show the one with the green arrow...(the newest one, and as you can see they are also being duplicated).

Here is the list of e-mails ( each new file update generates 2 emails to same file but different generated link) The image above refers to the email marked with a green dash below.

I have tried both methods of replace file and delete file, no matter what I do though, the order list updates with all versions, I'd rather not confuse my consumers and they should only see 1 item and no duplicates. 

I am testing with actual payment, not in test mode, to make sure everything works as intended.

Any help with this, I'm put off by it and might just cancel the trial if this is the rate of response for issues too..
