Hi, I found my paypal has some problem


 

It said that 

PayPal unavailable

Hello there @Enola01  Have you confirmed if PayPal is an accepted and certified payment gateway in your country of operation? If you haven’t, you should look through this https://www.shopify.com/es-es/aceptar-pagos-en-linea

You would also be able to find the best alternative payment methods there.

This error usually happens due to a few common reasons:

  1. PayPal isn’t properly set up – Double-check that your PayPal account is linked correctly in Shopify Admin > Settings > Payments. If it shows “inactive,” reconnect it.
  2. PayPal account limitations – Log into PayPal and check for any alerts or restrictions that might be blocking transactions.
  3. Currency mismatch – If your store currency doesn’t match the primary currency of your PayPal account, it can cause issues.
  4. Buyer-side issues – If only some customers experience this, their PayPal accounts or payment methods might be the problem.
  5. Temporary PayPal downtime – PayPal services sometimes go down. You can check their status at PayPal's Status Page.

Try reconnecting PayPal and testing with a different browser or device. If the issue persists, contact Shopify Support or PayPal Support for deeper troubleshooting.
