Photos not showing on homepage all of a sudden -- using Impulse theme. Anyone else having issues?

We are using an older version of the impulse theme. Photos on the homepage won't load - just started happening this morning. All other pages have photos that load. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen.

Shopify may have changed how files are handled, or there may be an issue in the theme. Your version of the Impulse theme is a bit outdated and perhaps the homepage code references image-url or assets in ways not supported anymore. Make sure that the image paths are fine on the homepage sections of your theme; no broken images. Clear your cache, or try in an incognito window. Either, the theme would need be updated to a newer version, or you would have to reach out to the theme developer for a patch (newer themes might not have this issue as much, but support and updates must be managed by the user themselves).
