POS GO time out of sync

We bought a POS GO for our business but we saw that the time on the device is out of sync. It displays and incorrect time. We set our shopify store to GMT -04:00. We talked to a shopify staff and they said that its supossed to be in sync with the time zone of our online store. We did a factory reset and restart and did not fix the problem. This is a problem beacuse all the orders and receipts display POS GO time and not the correct one. Any ideas?

POS GO time out of sync with Shopify store (GMT-04:00):

  • Check internet connection: POS GO needs a stable wifi/cellular data for time sync.
  • Verify POS GO time & zone: Ensure settings match your Shopify store's GMT-04:00 time zone.
  • Try a soft reset: Restart POS GO and log out/in of Shopify POS app.
  • Contact Shopify Support: If none of the above work, explain the issue to support for further troubleshooting.
