I have double opt-in enabled for email subscriptions. A custom confirmation email (I set it in Marketing/Automations in Shopify) is being sent to confirm the subscription.
Now I activated a pop-up email subscription in Prestige theme. It looks like the theme has a built-in confirmation email template, and it sends it out automatically. Is there a way I can turn it off? I want it to use my custom one.
Now it's 2 different confirmation emails are being sent out at the same time.

Hey, there! Themes only determine the design of your store, so I don't believe that any of them include their own email templates. The confirmation email being sent to customers when they sign up for your newsletter is coming from Settings > Notifications under the Customer notifications > Marketing double opt-in section. You'll find a toggle setting there to turn the notification on or off.

Hi @realina ,
You can turn off the double opt-in email in the Prestige theme by following these steps:
1. Check Theme Settings:
>Log in to your Shopify admin.
>Go to Online Store > Themes.
>Click "Customize" next to your active theme (Prestige).
>Look for settings related to the email subscription pop-up (under "Pop-up" or "Newsletter").
>Turn off the built-in confirmation email if there is an option.
If you can't turn off the confirmation email through theme settings, you'll need to edit the theme's code to make the changes you want.
2.Edit Theme Code:
>In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
>Click "Actions" next to your active theme, then select "Edit Code."
>Look for files related to the email subscription pop-up. These might be named popup.liquid, newsletter.liquid, or theme.js
>Look for the code that sends the confirmation email. You can search for terms like send, email, subscribe, or newsletter.
>Comment out the lines of code that send the email.
>Save the changes you made to the theme files.
>Test the subscription process to ensure only your custom confirmation email is being sent.
