Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well ?
I come to you in order to successfully solve a problem related to my Shopify.
We use the Impulse theme from Archetype which works perfectly however we noticed recently but the problem was already present on the last publications of the theme, a problem when loading images on mobiles and some computers using Safari and Chrome.
The problem is also present with a blank theme without settings, which isolates the problem from the theme.
We therefore think of a conflict between an application and the loading of images and even the menu when we browse our site.
Image loading animations is somewhat degraded, not smooth like on official theme and loading in drop down menu as well.
How could I detect which app is conflicting?
Because the concern is that we cannot pause an application and thus keep our parameters and settings of this application in order to detect which one is problematic.
And given the flow of visitors to our website and the financial stakes, we also cannot afford to uninstall each of the applications and redo all the sometimes tedious settings.
For SEO reasons I cannot share the link of our shop, however in private message it is possible.
Do you have any leads for us?
Thank you very much for your help 🙏
J.

Hello everyone,
After various tests and in particular with a clean theme on a new store, we managed to recreate the problem, so it seems that the problem comes from the theme and the latter is being investigated in this regard.
Have a nice day everyone,
Hi @ajweb35000
I'd start with the Chrome Developer console.
When using Chrome - press F12 to open the developer tools - then load your site.
Checking the "Console" tab will at least let you see if there are any errors or warnings that may be worth tackling.
As you can't share the URL it's going to be very difficult for someone to diagnose this externally.
Hello @SB_90
Thanks for your quick help,
I had already taken a look in the console but my skills being limited from an application point of view / Shopify / Theme I do not know if these elements could have a link?
On the image you can discover the domain, which avoids registering it here and therefore having SEO problems.
Thanks in advance
So I added the image as an attachment to this answer 🙂
