There is a problem with the meta ad manager for 3 months. The number of orders is duplicate on the Meta dashboard only, but with the same value as one order, and Shopify hears the number of orders is correct.
Hello @Zinabyounis,
Head into your Facebook Events Manager and click “Test Events.” Place a fresh order and watch how many Purchase events fire and whether they share the same event_id. If you see two separate events with different IDs, that’s the culprit.
Most often this happens when you have manually embedded the Facebook Pixel in your theme (theme.liquid or a checkout script) and you’ve also enabled Shopify’s native Facebook/Meta integration or a CAPI app. Shopify’s integration automatically generates matching event_id for Pixel + CAPI, so if you remove any extra pixel snippets (or disable the duplicate CAPI app) you’ll get back to one event per purchase.
Once you strip out the duplicate integration, run another test. Your Ads Manager should then show one Purchase per order—problem solve
