Hi there. This seems to be a known issue in the past on here, but today I’m getting a heap of bounce back emails. Error Message below. Please advise ASAP on how this will be fixed as they are email notifications to clients that are bouncing back without our knowledge.

Yes i've also had the same problem for bigpond.com. It's only happening for bigpond.com emails. I couldn't find any info on we can whitelist emails on their platform.
I have the same issue and have inserted the record TXT records to my domain. Did anyone get a solution to this?
Here's another "me, too". I have a regular customer with a bigpond email address that NEVER receives any notifications about his order (confirmation, shipping, etc). He's nice about it and all, but wouldn't it be nice to finally have this sorted after almost a year of being broken?

All my campaigns are failing due to high bounce rates (all bigpond email addresses).
Will have to stop using Shopify email unless theres a work around.

We are having a bigpond email bounce issue. Was there any work around or solution? Is anyone still having issues?
We have just started having the same issue. It appears that almost every fail is mostly @ bigpond.com, then some @westnet.com.au and @iinet.net,au. This is just the last week, we have made no changes to our subscriber list and have gone from say 9 bounces in 3000 E Mails to 20% in the first 800 E Mails and then the campaign stops sending due to the " High Bounce Rate"

There is no fix, if an "email brand" like Bigpond bounces your email then it is an issue between Shopify and Bigpond. It could be automated, like Bigpond sees too many reports or unsubscribes and algorithmically bounces them. It could be a bad IP neigbourhood, someone in the IP range has been spamming and they have blocked the whole range. The problem is if you are using Shopify email to send to your subscribers. Shopify kills the send if it sees too many bounces. We have a 80k email list and bigpond bounces will kill the send only a few thousand sends in. Very frustrating. If this is happening, you could segment out Bigpond subscribers.
New Google and Yahoo sender requirements came into effect in February 2024, so check your SPF records etc.
We use chat with Shopify Support and report the problem. They can't do anything but if you ask them to send a report or report it up the line of command you might get a technican see it and fix it.
