Discuss and resolve questions on Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels, and site speed enhancements.
Hello,
I need your assistance because there is an urgent issue with the SEO of my website. Despite my best efforts, search engines are unable to interpret the alt text I provided to my photos. Despite my diligent analysis and necessary website modifications, the problem persists. I need your assistance in implementing alt text in a manner that is comparable to that used by popular websites, such as the one for Tracking that is linked here. In addition, how can I modify my hardcoded alt text using JSON? If you could provide any advice or comments, it would be greatly appreciated. I value your time and help with this matter.
Hi @dolvex23 ,
I understand your concern regarding alt text not being properly recognized by search engines on your Shopify site. It's essential for SEO that alt text is correctly implemented as it helps search engines understand the content of your images, contributing to your site's overall SEO performance. For implementing alt text comparable to popular sites and modifying hardcoded alt text using JSON, you might need to look into Shopify's liquid code and JSON templates. Shopify's documentation on liquid variables for images and JSON structures for themes could be a good start.
Considering your situation, SEOPro could assist in optimizing your images' alt text more efficiently. SEOPro offers tools for bulk updating alt text, ensuring all images on your site are optimized for SEO without manually editing each one. By automating and streamlining the process, it could save you time and enhance your site's SEO.
