Product Customization Field now says [FILTERED] on order

Not sure if I'm posting this to the correct board or not but here goes....
I use Product Customization Fields on both my shops - 2 different themes - Supply / Simple

I have several different fields depending on the product and the info I need to collect.
These forms have been working fine for 2+ years but now All of a Sudden,  I'm seeing [FILTERED] on my orders for one of my fields.
It's not on every order or every product (or every liquid template) nor is it on a specific one, so I'm not quite sure what to make of this.
This just started yesterday and I'm not sure what may have changed within shopify background to cause this to happen.

Since I got the liquid form fields code from an advanced tutorial I doubt contacting shopify support will help.

I'm pretty sure there are many shops using custom liquid forms for products, so is anyone else seeing this all of a sudden?


This is the code:

On some orders the field results is blank (because the customer doesn't enter anything) On others it has whatever the customer entered
and then on some it's showing up as 
Additional Info: [FILTERED]

Since this field is there to get additional information from my customer  I'm not sure what is triggering it to say Filtered....

Our shop also uses custom fields and are experiencing the same issues in the past couple days! Any help is appreciated.

We are also experiencing the same issue, there does not seem to be a pattern to which products this happens to. We started noticing the problem yesterday.

We are using custom fields defined in the settings (settings_schema.json file) on products that display values correctly through the cart/checkout process but in the admin, the order says [FILTERED] for their values. The fields are essential to our products so we're not able to fulfill any orders currently.

Wow, this couldn't have happened at a worst time, I'm also having the same issue.  We're having to call customers right now.

Some clients of mine have run into the same issues. The confounding thing here is that this seems to be more of an issue with how Shopify is interacting with data that lives as custom_properties on line_items rather than an issue with a particular app or integration or something.

 

One client is experiencing this [FILTERED] issue with regard to content coming from the Custom_Fields app, one client is experiencing the same [FILTERED] issue while using the Product Options & Customizer app. Both sets of issues totally non-existent until 3 or 4 days ago.

 

Hopefully someone at @Shopify will have some answers, soon 🤞🏻

I received an email from shopify today stating this problem has been fixed
