Product Migration from Shopify to Visualsoft.

Hi - we are in the process of having a new website built with Visualsoft. They recommended we use Cart2Cart for our product migration. Cart2Cart have been unable to do even do a demo product migration for us. I have tried to use their website to do a migration myself but only got partway through the process before coming up against an issue. We were then advised to try exporting the products via a CSV file. When I did this it became clear the CSV file would require far too much work to get it into the correct format to upload to Visualsoft. With 17,000 products that vary greatly, I'm sure you can understand why this is not an option! Can anyone share some words of wisdom, or recommend a different migration company we could use? This is the last hurdle we need to get over before getting to the test stage and being able to launch the website. All of which should have been done so we were ready to launch weeks ago.

Sorry didn't realise they used their own platform when I had a quick look earlier. If Visualsoft provide API access to your store then it is more of an analysis of what fields you are having issues in migrating. Like you said CSV process for that amount of products is time consuming and only takes one row to have an error to cause issues. I can get my guys to take a look at the mapping requirements you need to move data from Shopify and automate the process. We map between platforms now such as SAP and Shopify so most of the work we have done for these kind of projects. We would just need to connect to Visualsoft API and have a look.

Thanks Tom. The issues has now been escalated to the technical team at
Visualsoft so I am hopeful they will come back with a solution. I will
certainly get in touch again if we continue to struggle.
