Product that is only visible after form is filled out

Hi all, Im not sure how this is possible but hoping someone can help me out.  Basically, I've created an application form on my website.  In order for applications to be accepted, we require that the applicant purchase a specific item from our store.  The ideal flow is: User fills out the form and hits submit, after they hit submit, they will be redirected to a page that states that they must purchase "Item x" in order to complete the application process.  I don't want "Item x" to be visible on the page to any beside users to hit the submit form button.  Is this possible?
