Product Variant Change Photo To Match ("Simple" Theme)

Hello all, would appreciate your wisdom.

I am on the "Simple" Shopify theme, and have deleted the Shopify Mockup pictures for my products, and added my own created on PlaceIt. Prior to doing that, the color variant menu worked when clicked.

Now that I have uploaded the PlaceIt mockup pictures, the color variant menu just stays on the first picture, and does not change when a new variant is picked.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Yes, because you need to also make sure that the new photos that you have uploaded follows the naming convention that the swatch code supports. So I suggest that you look and inspect the Simple theme demo somewhere and take note of the naming convention being used for swatch images. If you don't know how to do this, I can offer you my dev services. Message me.
