We have a customised clothing business and are currently setting up our store using 'Warehouse' theme.
We have hit some issues. Some of our products have a large number of varients, for example, this one from our wholesalers website:
https://shop.ralawise.com/en-GB/awdisjusthoods/college-hoodie/
We need to firstly be able to display that amount of varients
then we need them to be able to be purchased using a grid/matrix size/quantity selector so i.e. S x 4, M x 8, L x 22 can be all purchased at once.
Lastly, we have 1000s of products to add using csv files from our wholesaler. That data contains the varient options but we need the data to display all as one product. Currently when imported the same hoodie is imported as a different product for each colour. Would Matrixify app solve this?
I know this must be possible but currently at a loss with it. Anybody else set up a successful print and embroidery customisation store on shopify?
Hi @Andymotifs01 !
Ieva here from Matrixify.
Matrixify is able to Import your Products with Variants, but in this case we are limited to what Shopify allows. Generally the limit is 100 Variants per Product (for some stores this may differ). In this case Matrixify would be able to Import 5 Products each with 100 Variants, but not 1 Product with 500 Variants. There are some apps that have found a way around this though. I would not be able to name any as I would not know specifically which apps can do this, but I have heard that they do exist!
Also, to note, Shopify are planning to allow 2000 variants per Product and we are working on the change that will also allow that. It should be live sometime this year!
