Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels
We have a shopify store using the FLOW Theme (paid). We have products that are associated with multiple collections. When you click on a collection the product appears correctly but the tags or all three collections also appear as filters. How do you limit the filters to only show for the collection the user has selected?
For example:
- User selects the collection A
- The product appears for collection A correctly
- The filters (tags) for collection A appear correctly
- BUT the filters also appear for collection B & C since the product is associated with multiple collections.
THE QUESTION:
How do you limit the filters that appear to a specific collection when a product is associated with multiple collections?
Your genius insight and advise is greatly appreciated.
Hi @CirrusSR22T ,
I have not worked with FLOW yet and the authors of that theme are certainly the right persons to ask, but I had a similar issue in an extended MInimal Theme. In the end you have the save where you are coming from. You can use the browser history for that or you can store this information in the local storage of the browser. Then you just use that information/tag to display the collection on your product page.
Hope that helps.

Thomas
