Hello,
On my product pages, i have a text (html tag : “buyer-consent”) display under the Checkout Buttons that I want to delete.
Here is the text : “One or more of the items in your cart is a recurring or deferred purchase. By continuing, I agree to the Cancellation Policy
and authorize you to charge my payment method at the prices, frequency and dates listed on this page until my order is fulfilled or I cancel, if permitted.”
I already tried the “edit default theme content” thing : https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-scripts/how-do-i-get-rid-of-this-text-under-my-purchase-butt... but it’s not working..
You are my last hope 😭
Thanks 🙏
im trying to figure this out as well
I'm also been trying to find a way to remove. As this is now showing as pages with duplicate paragraphs in my seo.
It might be late, and you may have already figured it out, but for anyone else wondering: to change or remove this text, go to your Shopify admin panel, then to Themes. Click the three dots next to the "Customize" theme option, and select Edit default theme content.
A new page will open—copy the customer consent text from your product page, paste it into the search bar of the "theme content page", then either edit the content or press the spacebar to remove the consent text entirely.
