Has anyone ever had this problem and know what causes it? Is their an app or store setting that disallows sales under a certain price or under a certain profit margin? I was attempting to make a purchase of one of my products (test mode off, bogus gateway off, I currently have a paid shopify plan), with a few debit cards. When I adjusted the price down to 99 cents, the order wouldn't go through. I got this message:
"There was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method."
However at 12 dollars and at 29.99, the payment went through fine. What gives? (Not a huge deal as I plan to sell the order around 29.99 anyways, but just curious what could be causing this).
I was talking with someone from support, but I had to go before the issue was resolved (they said they'd email me if they found the cause). Just thought Id ask here as well.
Yes there is a minimum amount!
"The test purchase amount needs to be greater than the equivalent of $1 USD in any currency."
From here.
