I am trying to generate a QR code which is sent to customers in their order notification email and when scanned pulls up their order's details on Shopify POS. Having no luck currently.
Generating a QR code in the order notification is no problem, but for the code's content i've tried using the order number, order ID, and two different links (written out below) and none have done anything besides say "Scanned" on the POS Go.
https://admin.shopify.com/store/store-name/orders/{{ id }}
store-name.myshopify.com/orders?receipt={{ id }}
I see that the Shopify POS can create receipts which have QR codes that can be scanned to pull up order details, so I know that this feature exists. What code do I need to use in order to make my QR codes do the same thing?
Thanks in advance!
I see that the content for the Shopify POS packing slips is order.qr_code_content but not sure where this content is set or what it contains. any ideas?
