I'm reducing my image file sizes down to .webp files, I take it when something goes to print this will be upscaled again by Printify?
Thx
No, Printify does not upscale images for printing, what you upload is what gets printed. If you reduce your image file sizes too much (especially with .webp compression), you might lose quality, leading to blurry or pixelated prints

Hi @Micksmedia
Yes, that's correct! When you upload an image in .webp format to Printify, their system may automatically process and resize it for printing. However, since .webp is a compressed format, it may result in lower print quality compared to uncompressed formats like .PNG or .TIFF.
For the best print quality, make sure to use high-resolution images from the start (300 DPI is the industry standard). If Printify upscales your image, the quality may not be optimal if the original resolution is too low.
To ensure your design looks good before printing, you can preview it using Printify's Mockup Generator. L
I hope this helps

Hi @Micksmedia
Yes, Printify will upscale the image if needed, but the quality of the printed product depends on the resolution of the original image. Since .webp is a compressed format, be mindful of losing too much quality.
Best,
