Hey there! Thank you for that link. I did some digging into this and I believe I have discovered the issue.

Zoho webhosting does not support compacted IP addresses, which in a AAAA record is shown as two colons back to back "::". While there is a whole scope of information regarding compacted vs expanded AAAA ip records, please try your AAAA record like so:

Shopify recommended (most third party domain hosts): 2620:0127:f00f:a::

Zoho webhosting: 2620:0127:f00f:0005:0000:0000:0000:0000

For more details on this - The process of condensing an IPv6 address involves removing consecutive blocks of zeros and replacing them with a double colon `::`. Here's how the given IPv6 address `2620:0127:f00f:0005:0000:0000:0000:0000` is condensed to `2620:0127:f00f:a::`:

1. Remove leading zeros from each block: `2620:127:f00f:5:0:0:0:0`
2. Group consecutive blocks of zeros together: `2620:127:f00f:5::`
3. Replace the consecutive blocks of zeros with `::`: `2620:127:f00f:5::`
4. Add the missing block `a` to get the condensed form: `2620:0127:f00f:a::`

So, the condensed form of the IPv6 address `2620:0127:f00f:0005:0000:0000:0000:0000` is `2620:0127:f00f:a::`. They are the exact same IP address, just Zoho doesn't seem to like the condensed version.

Hi, do not try to add a IPv6 ip, the Shopify address you need to add is a IPv4 address

Hi

My hosting provider told me i should add the ipv6 because some new devices will require ipv6 and if i don't point that to my webshop the user will be forwarded to the hosting provider website where he will get a notification that the domain in question is busy. That's not what i want to happen. So, is there no ipv6 for shopify and why?

Hi there, @kiwi8! Thanks for taking the time to follow up on this older thread! If you're looking to point your domain to Shopify via AAAA records, you can use the following address to do so: 2620:0127:f00f:5::

Hope this helps!
