i have a client who misprinted 1,000+ boxes with the wrong domain
they printed 123&example.com instead of 123example.com
we are trying to redirect 123&example.com to 123example.com
previously, before i connected Shopify to their godaddy domain, 123&example.com instantly redirected to 123example.com
Shopify does not let me access the .htaccess file, which my developer believes would solve this.
Any suggestions would be appreciated ❤️
To be fair, this is a common mistake that I have had happen when I was working in the printing business. You should see if they would be open to the idea of having a local rpint shop just print coverup stickers with the correct domain.
Heard that, unfortunately 1,000+ units already in stock and sold and arrived at my client's customer's warehouse.
My solution is to revert the 123example domain to godaddy where the way its setup auto redirects from 123&example.com to 123example.com, then forward 123example.com to 123andexample.com and call it a day, we'll see, thanks for the insight. I was hoping to see if someone had a way to hack around the .htaccess limitation and create the functionality that would allow the website 123example.com to pickup and redirect any attemplts to reach it at 123&example.com
Ouch, that's a lot of redirects. Wouldn't it be better to just redirect 123exmaple.com and 123&example.com directly to 123andexample.com?
Just skip the second redirect altogether?
