my website is www.shopdogged.com and when i go to get my URL's inspected in google search console, I keep getting redirect errors and I am unsure why that keeps happening. Does this have to do with my wesbite being purchased from google?
let me know if you have seen this! I would really love to learn more!
The redirect errors you are experiencing when inspecting your URLs in the Google Search Console may have several possible causes. It's unlikely that it's directly related to your website being purchased from Google. Here are a few potential reasons for the issue:
Improper URL redirection setup: Check if you have set up any redirects incorrectly within your website's settings or in your .htaccess file. You should ensure that your redirects are properly configured to avoid any errors.
SSL certificate issues: If your website doesn't have a valid SSL certificate or if it's misconfigured, it could cause redirect errors. Make sure your SSL certificate is active to avoid any issues.
Canonical URL misconfiguration: Ensure that you have set the canonical URLs correctly for each page on your site. The canonical URL tells search engines the preferred version of a particular page, which can help prevent redirect errors.
Submission of incorrect URLs: Double-check that you are submitting the correct URLs for inspection in the Google Search Console. Sometimes, mistakenly submitting URLs that are already redirected can cause errors to be reported.
Let me know how you get on!
