I’ve noticed that sometimes when I issue a refund it doesn’t give me the option to refund to a gift card (which is our policy) and it automatically goes back to the persons credit card.
What is the reason for this?
Hey @Awwink you're not receiving this option because this is not possible with Shopify. In order to do this you would need to utilize a 3rd party app. My app iziGift we recently created this capability so you can do it directly from within your Shopify admin portal. Below is a quick preview:
