Related Products not showing either Live or on Homepage customization

Hello! I hope someone can give me a bit of light here...

Downloaded the Search & Discovery app into the latest Dawn theme 13.0.1

Went to the Search & Discovery app, then clicked on Reccomendations, then picked a product, then added a different product on the Edit Complementary Products area, then saved. Repeated it to have two complementary products to test how it looks. 

Then I  went to customize the theme, then products, then default product, and then added the Related Products block. Nothing happens. Nothing shows. 

On the other hand, did the same exercise with Related Products and that shows perfectly. 

How can I fix this?

I also have a similar issue with FILTERS from the same app. On this occasion I can see the filters on the Homepage customization page but they won't come up when I open the page LIVE.
