Removing extra space between sections within the footer

I am having a heck of a time removing the space after the text block and before the newsletter as well as the space after the newsletter. I've tried every padding adjustment with no luck.

Site is charliesbookco.com and I use the Dawn theme.

To remove the extra spacing from your Shopify store’s footer section, you can follow the below-provided steps. 

Go to Shopify Admin Dashboard and click on Online Store > Themes.

Click on the Actions button > select Edit Code.

Go to the Assets folder and open the base.css file.

Now add the below-provided code in the file:

.footer-block__newsletter > h2 {

display: none;

}

.footer__content-top {

padding-bottom: 1rem;

}
