I've run into this issue several times now for different domains and still don't have a good solution.
The problem: Shopify is unable to generate an SSL certificate when migrating an apex / root domain from an existing CloudFlare partner (like ClickFunnels) to Shopify. This causes CloudFlare to keep sending traffic for the domain to the old (ClickFunnels) servers instead of Shopify.
For previous domains, I had to upgrade to CloudFlare business account ($200/mo) to contact their technical support and have them manually remove the conflicting SSL records that were causing the traffic to be routed incorrectly in CloudFlare's network.
Is there a way for Shopify technical support to initiate the request to override the SSL certificate with CloudFlare?
The IP addresses, DNS propagation, etc. are all correct and externally verifiable. But according to CloudFlare technical support, there are competing SSL certificates in their records that cause the problem. ClickFunnels apparently doesn't have a way of deleting the old SSL certificate. But maybe Shopify technical support can send the request to CloudFlare instead of needing to pay CloudFlare $200 for contacting their technical support?
This is a common issue and happens every time someone tries to migrate from ClickFunnels to Shopify.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Shopify technical support was able to solve the issue.
I submitted a support request through Shopify admin panel. They understood the issue and were able to work with Cloudflare support to remove the conflicting SaaS SSL profile for the domain from Clickfunnels' Cloudflare account in less than 24 hours.
Thanks Shopify! Awesome support.
Apparently this issue has to do with how ClickFunnels and Shopify both use CloudFlare's SaaS SSL service for custom domains.
The old ClickFunnels profile for my domain did not get deleted properly in CloudFlare. There's no way for me to delete the profile from my CloudFlare account.
I've submitted a ticket with ClickFunnels support to have them manually delete the profile, but it's taking several days.
If anyone from Shopify reads this, can you confirm if there's a way for Shopify to override the old profile in CloudFlare?
I know it's possible for CloudFlare technical support to manually delete the old profile, allowing Shopify to properly create the new SaaS SSL profile. But I'm trying to avoid needing to pay CloudFlare $200 to contact their technical support.
Thanks!
