Share this theme preview not working with Shopify cli

Hello!

When using the Shopify cli to pull a theme and create a dev version and then serve that theme I am able to see it locally and also access the editor for the development theme and pull updates, but the "Share this theme preview" link does not work. It just keeps redirecting to the live website. I do not know what is going on. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there some redirect taking over that I am missing? Something blocking query strings and defaulting to the live site homepage? Any insight will help. Thank you.
