SHOPIFY BUG - Unexplained STOREWIDE Pricing Discount by 3%

When I opened up my front end this morning, all my prices storewide were automatically discounted by 3%. In many weeks, I haven't changed my site (frontend and backend), products, or added discounts or apps in at least a few months.

Prices show up correctly at checkout and are not discounted like they are at the front end by 3%.

 

Tried solutions:

  1. changing the pricing of a single product, including the regular price and compare to price, and removing the compare to price. <- did not fix the issue
  2. . I checked all my discount codes, and no 3% discount code exists.
  3. I checked my themes and opened up my backup in the preview to see if the prices were also discounted there. Prices were normal in there. Steps taken:
    1. I duplicated my live them and reviewed the pricing in the preview. The prices are fine when viewed in the preview, and there are no discounted prices.

 

UPDATE: The issue is not resolved. The prices still need to be corrected in any live theme that I use, even default themes.

UPDATE 2: Cart recovery emails also show the correct price (not the discounted price)

@ Shopify, I appreciate your help in checking out this issue since there is no reasonable explanation other than a backend style error on how the theme communicated with the database

 

Has anyone else ever experienced such an issue?

The issue seems to be related to one of the apps and a new feature pushed out by Shopify on March 5th related to allowing discount counts to be applied to draft orders."

How do you resolve this issue? This is happening to my store.

For me, it was related to an app that I was using. If you use any apps from BOLD, reach out to them, and they are aware of the issue. If you don't use them, I'm not sure what it could be from
