I've completely lost my patience with Shopify. I've made multiple contacts about this and no one even knows what's going on. They're confused, they don't listen to the whole problem, so they ask questions that make it clear they didn't even listen to me!
I canceled my shop a while back, and I'm just trying to transfer my domain to Hostgator. Shopify claims it's unlocked but Hostgator does everything, uses the code, and still gets an error saying it's locked. When I go to WHOIS and get it says, "Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited" and I've attached an image of what it says when I look that up on their site.
The second image is of what I see when I got to the domain section of my Shopify shop that they've opened again for a few days.
I asked the support person today and he claims there IS no other tech support he can contact. How can that be? He even said, "I'm not techy, but I'll look it over and try to figure it out." WHAT??? This is Shopify's support??
