When you disable JavaScript and click the checkout button on the cart page, it goes to the checkout page, but only ever displays a spinner. No content is ever loaded, so no js users cannot checkout. I tried this on both a dev store and production store. Tried with Chrome and Firefox with the same result.
Anyone else having this issue?
I cannot recall when I last tested this (maybe past year?), but you could definitely complete the entire checkout with JavaScript disabled. Hopefully this is just a temporary bug, as the default store theme, Dawn, fully supports having JavaScript disabled. It's odd that now the checkout requires JavaScript. There's not even a message saying something like "Please enable JavaScript to checkout".
FYI: I already opened up an issue on the Dawn theme github repository, but haven't heard anything back... The devs sometimes forward stuff onto the appropriate team, so was worth a shot.
Javascript is required for functionality. If you disable js then it will not work definitely
This seems like a bug though as checking out with js disabled used to be allowed until recently. The default theme, Dawn, is built around allowing javascript to be disabled, so it's pretty odd to then not be able to checkout.
