Shopify CLI cannot pull font files and won't display font

When pulling a theme from shopify, I get this error:

I don't know why it errors like this, the theme runs okay on local using shopify theme serve but the problem is, it won't display the font on my local dev environment. I also tried pushing it to shopify hoping it will render properly online but it won't

With regards to your local devel server, are you able to display this font via other means?  ie:  is the file actually valid

A casual glance for them errors implies it's some issue with Ruby on Rails failing to interpret/convert 'special' characters from the ASCII it's being fed to the UTF-8 it's wanting to use. If this was a real hosting service, I'd say just use scp to transfer.

Hello, to which domain is pointed for the urls of the fonts?

in my case, local preview cannot show fonts because of (local server) error, but it works fine on shopify server. I am using DAWN theme.
