Hi,
I'm having issues with my Shopify dashboard, which isn't tracking conversions correctly. For example, today I received three sales, but the dashboard shows only one sale registered. I've contacted Shopify, but they say they can't find any issues on their end. This leads to an incorrect conversion rate and general problems with reporting, including pixel tracking errors. Has anyone experienced similar issues or know how to resolve this?
It has been like this for months, not just today.
Also having this issue. Thought it was on my end. Still going crazy trying to figure out why my conversions in the live view aren't populating at all from today's metrics.
Hi Are you still having the same issue?
Got some few simple steps for you to check out and see if this will help
1. Look at Installed Apps: Sometimes apps you add might mess with tracking. Try turning off recent apps to see if that helps. (sometimes same app functionality may double the information)
2. Check Tracking Tools:
3. Verify Payment Setup: Check that your payment systems (like credit card processors) are working properly and sending the right info to Shopify.
Let me know if the top 3 works kindly like and hit solved 😊 Have a Great Day!
One issue I see with some customers currently is missing consent information / information being send to the Shopify consent API. I believe Shopify Analytics only works correctly if analytics consent has been granted.
You can check the different consent states on your websites when opening the browser console and typing in
window.Shopify.customerPrivacy.currentVisitorConsent()
if all values of the consent object are empty, this might be the issue.
Seeing the same thing on a store in the UK... thought I was going insane.
Shopify Analytics routinely tells us our conversion rate is 0.2% when, in reality, it's more like 4-6% on any given day.
Scratching my head, trying to figure this out.
