Shopify Dawn Theme Footer Reconfiguration

Hello, 

I am currently trying to create my footer for my store using the Shopify Dawn theme. I am having a problem figuring out the code and/or where exactly to put the code to get the newsletter box to be in a third column beside the menu and text column, rather than it being at the bottom. I'd also like to put the social media icons underneath the news letter box. I have read several other threads on how to fix this issue and after carefully following all of the recommended steps nothing is working for me. I will attach a photo of what my footer currently looks like.
