Shopify Dawn Theme Issue With Scrolling Y Axis On Mobile And Playing Videos on Mobile (double tap)

Hello! I am a very novice Shopify user but have managed to mold the Dawn theme into something I like for my website but have a couple of pet peeves, if you will, that no matter the amount of searching I have done and guides I have found on here and elsewhere none of the code corrections seem to resolve. If they cant be resolved its not a huge deal but any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. On the home page I have vertically stacked sliders with images. This is perfect on the desktop but on mobile when scrolling up and down its as though the image will catch on your cursor and instead of scrolling the y axis it just moves that image up and down. Again not terrible but an annoyance and I have tried many guides to try and resolve this but just cant seem to find any code that works. (overflow:hidden was placed in many different spots to try and fix this but didnt seem to)

2. On the link below there is a product video which is media I uploaded directly through shopify on the product page. This works great on desktop when play is pressed it plays the video. The issue is here is on mobile You hit play, it seems to open it in a new window, and then you have to hit play again to start the video. I would love to figure out a way for this to be a one press on mobile like it is on desktop but again the guides I have found and all the different code I have tried has not been successful for me sadly.

I have essentially written off the idea of resolving the slideshow moving up and down on the home screen issue as it seems it will be more trouble than its worth based upon the limited experience interference for now but I would definitely love to find a way to get the video to play on mobile in one click if it is a possibility. Thanks!

I'd try and use different configuration.

For you homepage, I'd switch from slider sections to "Image banner" or "Collage" with single image block...

Sliders have to intercept your touches, even though they are single slide ones, sometimes it's can be not the best.

For your product page, i'd add a Video section above the "product information" section instead of adding video as product media.
Should be easy given that you have a single product.

Your reply is greatly appreciated and understood! I went with slideshow because I found code that allowed me to add separate image files for my mobile and desktop users but if that is necessary I will have to see if I can find similar code for image gallery. As for the suggestion of adding a video above the product I did think of it and it is a great suggestion was just hoping to keep it side by side with the text. Thank you again for the suggestions!!!
