Hi,
I'm having an issue where Shopify Google Sales Channel hasn't pushed an updated feed to Google Merchant since the 2nd of January.
Now, most of my products are about to expire on Google Merchant. Is there a way to make a manual push? I thought maybe disconnecting the Google Merchant Account and connecting it again may do the trick, but not sure if this would actually hurt the current feed or get all my products to the "waiting for approval" stage again.
Please let me know,
Thank you
The app you are using has lots of these issues for over a year now.
One recommendation is to disable automatic updates in Google Merchant Center > gear icon > automatic improvements.
Than wait 24 hours.
If the issue persists, contact Shopify to report the bug.
As this is a frequent issue, I use a different app for my clients, you may want to check out: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds
Hi Emmanuel,
Thank you for the response!
I disabled the automatic updates, and now I'm looking into the new app, but in the meantime, I have some products that are about to expire. Having disabled the automatic updates, is Shopify now going to push a feed update? Would you mind explaining a bit about what's happening functionality-wise without the automatic updates? Just so I understand for future issues.
Thank you!
As a temporary fix you could reprocess the products using this method: https://feedarmy.com/kb/how-to-reprocess-content-api-in-google-merchant-center/
It does not update the product info, it just does reprocesses it so that you can extend the expiry date.
