Hi,
Whenever i go onto my shopify site on another account and different browser it does not automatically go to the password page. My shopify site shows as live when it is on pause and build mode.
This is Amelia from PageFly - Landing Page Builder App
When your Shopify store is in “Pause and Build” mode, the storefront remains visible to visitors, but the checkout functionality is disabled. This means that customers can still browse your site, but they won’t be able to make purchases.
If you want to ensure that visitors are directed to a password page instead, you can enable the password protection feature. Here’s how you can do it:
Enable Password Protection:
Verify Password Page:
Customizing the Password Page:
By enabling password protection, you can ensure that your store is not accessible to the public while you are in “Pause and Build” mode.
Hope that my solution works for you.
Best regards,
Amelia | PageFly
