Shopify payments country/currency change not working

Hi all,

When I click on any country/currency to change, it does not change the first time I click and only changes the second time I attempt to change the country/currency. I've also noticed that when I attempt to change it the second time it changes to the country/currency I initially selected in my first attempt if that makes sense.
I am only seeing this odd behavior on the desktop and not on mobile. I was not seeing this behavior before so I am guessing one of the apps or the few minor changes I made to the code may have triggered this.

I am using the Dawn theme and the website is below

I'd really appreciate any kind of help as the shopify chat support were not able to figure it out either.

Thank you

Hello,

I am San from MS Web Designer.

If you want to update your store currency and country, you can do so by going to settings>store details. If the changes are not reflected, don't hesitate to contact Shopify support for assistance.

Do let me know in case of any concerns.

Regards,

San

I don't think I was clear in my post so let me clarify. I do not need to change store currency and country. I am having issues on my website from a USER standpoint. When I try to change the currency/country from the option on the top right, it will not let me unless I select a country/currency twice (screenshot below)screenshot1.PNG

Hello,

I am San from MS Web Designer.

I have identified that there are issues with the website's currency converter, specifically the location-based feature, which is not working properly due to code problems. To ensure a more reliable solution, I recommend using a third-party app.

If you prefer a custom currency converter, you will need to address and develop the JavaScript and jQuery code accordingly. Alternatively, you can share the code with us for rectification.

Do let me know in case of any concerns.

Regards,

San

Hi,

thanks for your reply. I’d really like to avoid using a third party app or using a custom currency converter as the one I have now was working until recently so I’d appreciate it if you could take a look at my code. Which part of the code do you want to see?
