Shopping Cart is transparent and looks bad

Hi All - I may not be in the right place but I'm having a bit of an issue with the new store I just launched (Dawn Theme.)  I just opened my online store (www.tinyotters.com.) It’s using the Dawn Theme. I designed myself so there are still many (many many) issues to work through, but one issue I’m seeing is:

If you go to a product page and add something to the cart, the cart pops up from the top right. But instead of the shopping cart laying on top of the page, it somehow has some weird transparency such that it overlaps on the page that the user is on and ends up looking terrible. (You can see on the screenshot attached below.)

I keep thinking this has to be an obvious fix, but I haven’t figured it out and google searches have not yet yielded the solution. Wondering if anyone here has any insight.

Go to your Online Store > Themes > click 3 dots button > Edit code > Assets > open base.css file and and this code below at the bottom of this file, click Save button

    background: #fff !important;
