Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels
With the new filtering system by product type, custom types replace the standard types. for example, if I have a dog collar the product types are as follow:
Standard: Pet Collars & Harnesses
Custom: Collars
When I try to filter a collection by product type, this item will only be available under "Collars" and will not show up under "Pet Collars & Harnesses"
I prefer the custom product type since it's more specific.
Is there a point to add standard types to all my products in addition to custom types?
Which one gets picked by Google or Facebook to automatically match with their taxonomy?
Will it affect SEO (if I have either or both)?
Thanks
